Book Review: 辣，辣死你！/ A Spicy Love

Hi everyone!! I am back after a week of working!! This time round it will be a book review on a chinese novel which I finished reading some time around Thursday called Book Review: 辣，辣死你！/ A Spicy Love. I finally have the spare time to write my thoughts on this book now. 🙂

The story revolves around the female lead named Zhan Tian Lan (TL) and male lead named Shen Chun Ba (CB). CB met TL when he was young, being a transferred student into a primary school. The first time he laid his eyes on TL is when he was being led into his class. TL’s appearance made him fall in love with her at first sight!! 🙂

Therefore he uses all his abilities of ways and means to get the opportunity to sit next to her in class. He always tried to flirt with TL but it always backfired with TL thinking up of ways to get back at him. Some examples will be when CB lifted up her skirt to get her attention, TL will shave off some of his hair in return. 😛

After a semester in this primary school he developed a nightmare and decided to get his family to transferred him to another school. His wish was being granted. Meanwhile TL misses CB very much and was curious about his whereabouts, she decided to get her family to help her track down CB. 😉

When she knew that CB was being transferred to another school and was being happily surrounded by all sorts of girls, she was super pissed off. But she continue to did nothing about this situation.

After 12 years, they reunited. TL become a famous garden landscape designer and was being hired to design for CB’s hotel. The scene whereby after 12 years they met again was hilarious. TL recognises CB at first sight (since she never stopped tracking on his news) but the same can’t be said for CB. 🙂

CB tried to flirt with TL and again he was being get back at by TL throwing some firing crackers at his feet which gave him quite a scare and realizes that TL was the little girl which gave him nightmare 12 yesrs ago. He tried to fired TL as his garden landscape designer but was being laughed at by TL saying he was afraid of her. To prove his bravery, he paid her the full sum of her designing fees and started to court her at the same time. 🙂

Which makes TL felt anxious yet happy at the same time. TL’s family met CB and share with him how much TL loves him behind her back. CB was touched and promises TL’s family that he love TL as much too. As the days went by, TL accepted CB’s love and the novel ended with the couple living happily ever after!! 🙂

Personally I kind of like how the author writes out the process of their love story. It was hilarious how CB always got bullied by TL yet he couldn’t do anything about it since he love TL!! 😛

I will give it a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars!! This is another cute couple, but since I read lots of novels already, this is definitely not the best out of all, but definitely good enough to share with you people at my little blog!! 😛
